Returns & Exchanges

We put a lot of care into every Fin & Fern piece and want you to feel good about what you bring home. If something doesn’t quite work out, we’re here to help within the guidelines below.


What’s Eligible for Return

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and unwashed

  • In new condition

  • In its original packaging, with tags attached (where applicable)


Final Sale Items

Some items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. These include:

  • Sale and clearance items

  • Gift cards

  • Personalized or custom pieces (such as monogrammed items, when available)

  • Any product clearly marked “Final Sale” on the product page

We always try to note “Final Sale” clearly so there are no surprises at checkout.


Return Shipping & Refunds

As a small business, we aren’t able to offer free returns just yet.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless we made a mistake or your item arrives damaged.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Once your return is received, approved returns will be refunded to your original form of payment. Fin & Fern reserves the right in our sole discretion to deny returns/exchanges that are found not to be in accordance with our policy.

Please allow up to 5–7 business days from the time we receive your return for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns, as we’re not responsible for packages lost in transit.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If something arrives less than lovely, we’re truly sorry.

Please email us at contact@finandferninterior.com within 3–5 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

Once we review your message, we’ll make it right with a replacement or a refund (depending on availability). In these cases, we’ll cover return shipping or provide a prepaid label.


How to Start a Return

To start a return, please reach out to us at contact@finandferninterior.com with:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • The item(s) you’d like to return

We’ll reply with return instructions and the return shipping address. Please wait for our confirmation before sending anything back, so we can be sure it’s properly logged on our end.


Exchanges

We’re not able to process automatic exchanges at this time.

If you’d like a different style, color, or pattern, we recommend:

  1. Requesting a return for your original item, and

  2. Placing a new order for the piece you’d like instead.

This helps ensure your new favorite doesn’t sell out while your return is in transit.


International Orders

Due to higher shipping and customs costs, international orders are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange, except in the case of damaged or incorrect items. If that happens, please email us within 3–5 days of delivery with photos, and we’ll do our best to help.
